Description

Noah Becker x Pushbikers x Laureus

Noah Becker – artist, cultural explorer, and keen observer – has established a strong international presence in the contemporary art world in recent years. His work has been shown in cities including Berlin, New York, Madrid, Miami, Salzburg, and Los Angeles.

Becker’s artistic practice crosses boundaries between painting, sculpture, and installation, consistently engaging with themes of identity, movement, and social transformation.

His current solo show, FACE YOUR FEAR, at Deschler Gallery in Berlin, captures this vision with striking clarity.

Now, Becker has created a piece that not only reflects movement – but lives it: a high-end racing bicycle, hand-painted, one-of-a-kind, and unlike anything else in the world.

“To me, a bicycle is more than just a way of getting from A to B. It stands for freedom, energy, and self-determination – all themes that also shape and inspire my artistic work.”
NOAH BECKER

The foundation of this one-of-a-kind racing bike is carbon fiber — the high-performance material used in top-tier racing bikes for its strength, stiffness, and, above all, low weight. The frame of this custom-painted unique piece is a Wiawis Radical, made in Korea, built on over 40 years of expertise in graphene nano-carbon technology developed for archery.

Becker painted the frame by hand in his Berlin studio, using lacquer, layered textures, and sculptural surfaces. The result: a fully functional artwork that not only turns heads but also performs to the highest technical standards.

“Sport unites us – that’s the Laureus motto and the inspiration behind this project. The idea came from Paul Schif, Managing Director of Laureus Germany and Austria. We had long envisioned a bicycle that would merge cutting-edge engineering with true artistic vision.”
CHRISTIAN GRASMANN (Maloja Pushbikers)

This bike impresses with an extraordinary selection of components, where lightness, quality, and design were given top priority. Key components come from Italy, the USA, and Germany — for example, the ultra-light handlebar and stem from Deda and a Repente carbon saddle, state-of-the-art equipment that meets the demands of professional cyclists, complemented by the Shimano groupset.

Particularly innovative are the Pirope wheels, which use ultra-light textile spokes made in Chemnitz, Germany. This special racing bike manages to save weight even in places where no one else does.

A Unique Piece with Meaning

The Maloja Pushbikers and Noah Becker share a commitment to new ways of thinking.
In this collaboration, art and sport meet as equals – both demanding discipline of body and mind, both driven by a need for expression, clarity, and change.

The bike will be unveiled for the first time on June 12 during the “Neu Denken” economic forum in Mallorca.

Proceeds from the auction go to the Laureus Sport for Good Foundation.
